What is your one favorite element in your small, cool home? The exposed brick wall that runs from the Living to the Dining Room. It feels as though we live in a loft.

What was one of the biggest challenges you faced in furnishing your small home? We live in the corner section of the building, so one section of our wall has a weird angle. We arranged the furniture to give it an illusion that it is a straight wall.

Under the coffee table in the living area... is that a dog bed? Floor cushion? Did you make it? I have been cooking up ideas for making a modern-looking bed for my lab. Could you give some details on this?

i really like the old suitcases as a side table. very nice organization of your things. it reminds me a lot of my place. ikea and herman miller seem to be the theme of my apartment too.

Hi shayshay, it is a floor cushion that my wife made. We got the foam on sale at Jo-Ann's and the fabric at Ikea.

I wish the third dresser in the bedroom had the same height as the other two. It's blocking part of the window!
