Strange and Beautiful Prints by Alec Thibodeau

We spotted Alec Thibodeau’s work at Craftland a few weeks ago and thought that his bizarre and colorful silkscreen prints would be perfect Halloween décor that could easily stay up year round.

Thibodeau lives and works right here in Rhode Island and his hand-pulled prints and drawings — all under $100 — are available from his website, inkape.com, and at Craftland in Downtown Providence (shown above).

This guy also has some similarly awesome prints... and you can get hand screen printed versions for less than $100!

I recently bought the print of the blue flowers. I saw this artist's show at a gallery below my apartment last year and kicked myself for not buying it then. But now it's mine, couldn't be happier.

I originally wanted the red and yellow version, but the colors were not as vibrant in person as they seem in the picture above. The red is more orange and the yellow is pale. Still beautiful though.

I wonder if I still have my old Ouji board?

I love the yellow and blue flowers

Are there spirits here who wish to communicate?
