Oh my god. I want the cabinet in the first photo SO BAD.

The chests/cupboards are great (though I'd like to see turned legs instead of the plain ones shown). Not as taken w/the chairs.

I like these a lot.

But, there's something a tad frivolous in 'recycling' in this manner-- removing necessary elements from numerous pieces of existing furniture, thereby rendering those carcasses unusable. (He says on his site "I do not use or collect drawers that already have a use in an existing piece of furniture". One wonders where he gets them, then.)

I'm not condemning him for being wasteful, I don't especially care one way or the other-- better that one of his charming Frankenstein pieces should exist in the world than the three or four battered, mediocre cast-offs that were destroyed for parts, in my opinion.

I just feel compelled to point out that 'recycled' is not necessarily synonymous with 'frugal'; there are hidden expenditures of energy or waste that are frequently overlooked in our fervor to be green.

I would GLADLY own any one of these pieces! The stepsister of the Louis Ghost chair is positively brilliant. I wish I could make pieces like these!
