Where to Shop for Your Home (on a Budget) in Rhode Island
Rhode Island Monthly

While we’re big on supporting local businesses, it’s not always easy when you’re counting every penny. We just stumbled on a great list of 35 places in Rhode Island and Southern New England to shop for home and garden bargains, put together by Rhode Island Monthly Magazine, and we’re chomping at the bit to start exploring them all.

Their list covers everything from salvage yards (like New England Demolition and Salvage, pictured above) and antique stores, to fine linens, artwork, and planters. There are even a few select big box stores thrown in for good measure. To see the whole list, visit Rhode Island Monthly’s website.

I can't help think of the ridiculous advert for some "blue pill" where there is a couple sitting in separate bathtubs in the middle of some idylic scenery. Why not stage a full scale love-in in this warehouse?

Wonderful to have the selection, but looks eerie like Damien Hirst's work of rows of incuabators at the Lever Building in NYC. . .
