I am a complete bottle opener enthusiast. It all started last year when I became the owner of no. 8 seen above. It's so much fun being able to show off a cute version of what is usually a drab, functional piece. Today, stores are finding unique ways to tie vintage elements and humor to the ways we open our beverages.
Pull out a mustache corkscrew or an antler bottle opener at a party and be ready for some jealous guests. Not only are these great conversation starters, but they make amazing gifts too. Bottle openers and corkscrews are generally inexpensive and are a fantastic adult gift for any occasion.

Oooh....loving this post! Especially #3, although...#5 & #4 run a close 2nd & 3rd. Then again, #7 ain't half bad. It all started when I was diggin thru some *junk* at the local flea market and unearthed a couple of gunk covered bottle openers in the style of #8 and grabbed 'em both on a whim. Cleaned off the gunk & discovered 'Pepsi Cola" & 'Coca-Cola' underneath all the grime. Turned out to be the beginning of a collection.
Hmm...which one to get the dh for Christmas? =]
I've gotten a couple of unique, modern cork screws as gifts. But none work as well those plain basic cork screw that are sold in liquor stores or drug stores.
Mustaches are the new zombies which were the new bacon which was the new cupcakes.
That being said, it's awesome!
@ErikTheRed - what about mustaches on zombies?
I'll take #7.
