Make the most of your curtain rods. This drapery arm from the Bradley Collection is fastened to the wall at one hinged point.
Curtains slide on the rod as on any conventional curtain rod. But this rod can rotate out from the wall, too, to act as a space divider. This could also be used away from the window in a location where you want the option for a wall-mounted space divider that could fold against the wall when not needed.

That's a smart idea... I can certainly think of a few places I'd like to have something like this!
I just spoke with the delightful Jane at Bradley Collection, as this would be a perfect solution in my apartment. They are wholesale only, so if you're interested in their products you must go through an interior decorator for pricing.
The drapery arm is custom made (finish, size). Actually she used the word 'bespoke', which always tickles me. Jane recommends not going longer than 40", or using very lightweight fabric if you go any longer. (I have in mind an 80" room divider, so this might not be the best solution for me.)
This is what I wanted my husband to make for our bedroom to seperate us from the baby (I came up w/ it before the baby was born. The baby ended up sleeping w/ us and it didn't really matter anymore and now he's in the living room.) But thanks for showing this! I didn't know it existed!
