It's hard to miss the surge in popularity of nurseries featuring trees, branches, or an otherwise woodland theme. We spotted these Elmhurst Branch Shelves in the PBKids catalog that arrived yesterday. We like the solid wood construction and the organic shape. If you like these, jump below to see what else we found...

For something more sculptural, consider the Branch Shelf from West Elm. Also made of solid wood, West Elm's version comes in a deep chocolate finish.

If stylized is not your style, the Lunuganga branch shelf might be for you. Otherwise you could fashion your own out of an actual branch.

The Elmhurst shelves are adorable. But they're $69 each! Not for the three shelves, each. I bet they wouldn't be difficult to copy with a jigsaw. I bet I could find someone on Etsy Alchemy to make them for me for a LOT cheaper.
Where did the tree wall decal come from in the room featuring the Elmhurst shelves? Adorable!
Did anyone find out where the tree decal came from? I have been looking everywhere for it as its adorable. If anyone finds out I would love to know. It makes no sense for PBK to sell the shelves if you dont have the tree to put them on.
I think the tree w/ the shelves is painted - doesn't look like a decal to me. PBK has Woodland tree decals but the shelves wouldn't work with those.
http://www.mywalldecals.com has a few tree decals you can look at and they're also affordable!!!
Through much investigation I have found out the the tree is a decal previously available in the PBK catalog. I have exhausted all sources trying to get one, but have been told many times that it is permanently unavailable. You think the shelves are pricy, the "nursery tree decal" was originally sold for $179.99. Beats me why they're still selling the shelves with no decal available.
It does look like a decal, if you look closely you can see a shiny ring boarder around the leaves on the left side.
I wanted to order these shelves for my daughters nursery and try and paint a tree. I saw these online about two months ago. I just went to order them and they are NO LONGER AVAILABLE!! I cant find them anywhere online. Does anyone know where I can get them? Thanks
From what i have seen there are two types of wall decals printed ones and solid color vinyl decals I prefer the look of the solid color my self.
they have some really awesome ones here.
