Steve Jobs to Join New Bravo Reality Show

Ever since Bravo lost their number one show to Lifetime, the NBC owned station has been looking for a replacement. While you could never replace Heidi Klum and Project Runway, Bravo execs have managed to concoct a reality show that should make every geek and design zealot's heart go aflutter.

R&D pits 12 wannabe industrial designers against each other as they fight for the ultimate prize -- their concept manufactured and sold in Best Buy. Much like Project Runway, young designers are put through the ringer as they compete in challenges that read like a MacGyver episode -- GPS-enabled smartphone made out of Twinkies, an empty Budweiser can, and a roll of Lifesavers anyone?

More surprisingly, Bravo has wrangled together the A-Team of the tech world. The esteemed panel of judges include Cuperitino's grand poobah himself, Steve Jobs, whose signature turtleneck and "Just one more thing..." are sure to become the show's trademark, alongside Brian Lam, Gizmodo's editorial director hoping to jump the shark, and attention hound/occasional musician, Kanye West, playing the role of self professed design guru. NY Times tech columnist David Pogue will act as R&D's Tim Gunn-like adviser, aiding the designers as they complete each challenge.

The show premieres May 3rd at 9PM and will be hosted by Olivia Munn, current hostess of G4's Attack of the Show. Rumors are swirling that guest judges may include Karim Rashid, Lady Gaga, and Bill Gates in the first season alone. Who would you want to see on the show?
