We were SUPER excited to have met Jack White [famously of The White Stripes, currently touring Australia with The Dead Weather] during breakfast on Sunday morning. While eating breakfast in Degraves St, we looked up to spy Jack White and crew taking a seat two tables away from us. Not ones to miss an opportunity, we went over, chatted and got our tickets from the night before autographed. In honor of this, we've rounded up our favorite black, white and red kitchens hoping that one day we can again have breakfast with Jack White.
... what was surprising was that Jack openly admitted to the band seriously discussing the logistics of permanently moving to Melbourne before we so rudely interrupted - and just for the record, Jack White is remarkably chipper on a Sunday morning!

Hmmm.... what other bands might inspire AT posts? Crowded House? The Doors? Garden Party? Sofa Surfers? The Urban Lounge? The Pillows.......
love this!!
So. Very. Jealous... of meeting Jack White. Not the kitchens.
I never want anyone to walk on my kitchen counter, thanks in advance.

A swell breakfast nook like that & morning eats with Jack White. YOU SO ROCK!!!
The first kitchen reminds me of those SAW movies for some reason.
You are not hungry. You are not hungry. You are not hungry.
That first kitchen would definitely make a person too sick to cook or eat!
