What I Love About My Small Home:
I love the charm of what once was an elegant hotel and is now used as unique studio and one bedroom apartments. What I find most fascinating about my home is that even with such a limited and space to work with, the option to move things around and continue to make changes with it can be done just the same as if I were living in a bigger floor plan. The overall feeling is of comfort and knowing everything you own is within reach.
Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
As many people say, the challenge of studio living comes from the placement of the bed. I travel quite a bit, and for me you have to embrace and learn from what hotels offer and know what works and doesn't. I tend to work mostly at the dining room table, and leave the bed for sleeping only. If anything, when living in a studio it's like living a life similar to being on vacation. Your home is your exotic hotel room.
