Although it's hard and "unfinished" to some, beautiful brick bedroom walls can actually be a highlight. They can provide warmth, texture, color, and a sense of materiality to a room that equals cozy and comfortable:

• 2 a rough-around-the-edges but comfy bedroom (check out how that "chandelier" is hanging), via Canadian House and Home
• 3 A brick chimney jutting into this bedroom from Coastal Living is a bit awkward, but it also provides a little space for a shelf and a row of clothing hooks.

White Enamel Flatwa...
the first picture is very pretty with the contrast of the bricks and bedding. the rest are so so
#4 is gorgeous!
I don't think I will ever grow tired of the good 'ol brick wall, it's an instant backdrop. Love it, preferably unpainted.
I absolutely adore the first photo.
I think exposed brick is very raw and sexy, perfect for the bedroom!
I love unpainted brick walls too, considering they're in good condition. I really like the third photo though, it looks nice and cozy. I'll nap there.
I have one brick wall in my bedroom and love it. But I've always loved brick walls (they're on two sides of my apartment). Brick lovers unite!!!!
I wanted to say, I almost never like any painted brick, and I have never like white-washed brick. But man, that bedroom brick in picture #4 is incredibly beautiful.... Tranquil and lovely. I'm thinking of moving to white bedding because of it!
I love #1, 2 and 4. Such great texture with the crisp linens.
The first photo is gorgeous (as so many have already stated)! But it also works feng shui wise. Why? Note the arc of brick over the bed head. This acts as a continuation of the headboard feel and really adds a nice touch to anchor the bed in what otherwise might be too-high-to-be-cozy ceilings.
The matching equal sidetables with lamps gives feng shui balance (and improves Love & Relationship ch'i). The curve of the bench at foot of the bed echoes the arc over the bed, brings nice yin energy to the yang bricks and bed shape. Elements are well represented here: earth(bricks), metal (bed), wood (tables and bench), water (crystal chandelier)...the only one missing is fire but having a touch of red would solve that(a red pillow or a candle...or perhaps there is a fireplace in the room we cannot see).
I think this illustrates why we sometimes gravitate more to some photos and not to others, without really knowing why. You get the same feeling as when you walk into a room...it either feels right or it doesn't. Through studying the underlying feng shui you can understand why.
That being said, I lived in a one room loft in LA for a few years. One entire wall was brick but had been painted white. Even with the paint, the brick was old and crumbly and was constantly throwing off "brick dust". This could be a problem in a room like this one without putting some kind of sealer over the bricks.
