Your Favorite Thing About Your Outdoor Space: It's our little escape from the hustle of city life. It's a relaxing place to spend time after work, pick fresh vegetables and watch the sunset.
Biggest Design Challenge With This Space: Our deck gets a lot of sunlight so it takes a lot of work to keep everything properly watered and we don't have access to a hose.
Tips for Creating a Great Small Outdoor Space: Take advantage of the space you have and fill it with things that make you happy!
Thanks, Bridgette, and good luck!

Love it!
Totally beautiful.
I love the balance that is evident as the plants are situated just perfectly around the space. Also, the use of flowering and non-flowering plants adds to the already peaceful atmosphere! Just beautiful!
Love all the plants, but would like to see more color. Well done.
Incredibly lush! I love the wood floor!
This is what I envision for my backyard! It is lovely. <3
this is very nice but not really "small"
yup. this gets my vote
I vote for this one.
They are all great, but MUST vote for this one as I've done this - lots of plants on the deck & no hose. It's hard work & time consuming.
Kudos on the orange tree. I presume you take it in during cold weather?
It's beautiful...great job!
i voted for this one
This is BEAUTIFUL, this is somewhere you can just relax and enjoy the view.
The point of this contest seems to be about an eye for design and genuinely voting for the quality of the 'Small, cool outdoor space'. I understand its the number of votes that count in the end, but feel it takes away from the spirit of the contest to use a website designated to just get votes. Thanks.
Vanessa I couldn't agree with you more. I think it is pretty lame when you have to go to a website that is only for exchanging votes. What does that say about the design and the people themselves. I don't feel they are in it for the art/creativity but only to WIN...How sad...It is ok when you go to your friends and family and ask for votes because we all support each other but it says a lot about someone when you go to complete strangers, so you can win at any cost...
I do hope in the future that re nest has rules against using websites that are designated only to get someone votes.
I am in hopes that more people will have a negative comment about this...
