Name: Twins boys on their way (due 12/14)
Location: Jamaica Plain, MA
Color Inspiration: When I was looking for inspiration for the nursery, I came across Julianna's Room from Jennyology.com and was absolutely blown away by it. And I just realized, that Julianna's room was also a winner of Small Kids Big Color contest in the past. I wanted to create the same bright, fun and "not your typical nursery" feel.
Tip for Using Color: Don't be afraid to be adventurous with color, especially when it comes to kids spaces.
Colors Used: Paint - "Pea in the pod" by Behr. Chair and a half - in Saffron color by Crate and Barrel.
Thanks for your colorful entry Elena and good luck!

Nice attention to details. Bright and cheery. The color makes you want to grow:)
two cots make me sad. obviously theyd become necessary... inner twin me, hopes babes sleep in the same cot to begin with. feet to feet. :( gorgeous though.
My twin nieces hated sleeping together. LOL I remember visiting them in NICU once and the nurses all joked that one of them was doing fine until they put her in the incubator with the other one. She just started screamin! Whatever works for your family though.
Beautiful photos and detail.. the jailbair fish is kinda funny!
sorry, jailbait!
I love the white accents with the green. The string of chinese lanterns makes me swoon! I must find them!!
