Everything about this time of year just screams orange, a color to which I have intentionally limited my exposure. (I currently own a single bright orange picture frame, to be exact.) I love the vibrant, light feeling that a bold orange exudes, but using it in any meaningful way in my home is just a bit intimidating.
The subtext of orange in everything October (can you walk past a store these days without being flooded with orange?) must be seeping into my subconscious, because lately I have been drifting off into a reverie dominated by bright orange chairs. Usually the deluge of pumpkin-colored displays this time of year turn my head away. But from the looks of these smart examples, the addition of a set of bright orange chairs can be a relatively easy way to refresh a neutral room. Paired with white or brown walls, tables and floors, a chic collection of orange chairs can look just right. It can even be an inexpensive way to makeover a dining room or kitchen. Grab an old breakfast table chair and a can of orange paint. Apply, and repeat.

That's right AT, you keep flooding us with images of orange. I'M LOVING IT!
I like it!
Is that orange chair near the third photo real? Looks almost like a strange PS job.
I'm in LOVE with the first set of chairs!! And I have been thinking of adding some chairs to my dining room...
Orange has just been added to the possibilities!
Love all the images...but I agree with hooksies, that third image is strange.
Dear orange chairs in image one,
Please come home with me. I will love you and take good care of you.
I love everything about the first photo. I want to take that whole room and transplant it into my house.
Based on the flowers, though, it was taken in the spring.
Gorgeous -- a breath of fresh air!
I actually love the fourth photo - it seems balanced and refreshing! I never thought I would like orange chairs!
Oh, wow. I am seriously loving the chairs in the first picture - so bright and comfortable-looking! (The painting, vases, and flowers can come too.)
I never met an orange chair I didn't like.
My bedroom is mostly orange, with rust, yellows, and mushroom-beige. It's bright but still soothing.
