After seeing Christopher and Javier's loft with very bright painted walls, it reminded me how much I love interiors that take a risk with color. Why not just go for it and paint the walls a bold color; after all it can always be repainted. My latest color crush is orange. I love orange on walls as a solid color, stripes, or incorporated through furniture and accessories.

Orange is such a tricky color to play with. For me, if it isn't just right it's awful. I do love orange and I find myself looking for ways to balance it so it won't be yuck. In my new place I'll have a recessed kitchen and I can see pairing it with white easily. The alcove in #5 seems to achieve a good balance while the Bright Orange Kitchen would make me bonkers.
I prefer paler, Mod orange to pumpkin orange. When it's done right, it's great.

Im using orange as an accent color in my rustic gray bedroom but now that Im looking I cant find anything orange (throw pillow I like, sculpture, trinkets)...womp womp

I don't know if I think orange is a tricky color. I think pink is tricy because it can look pepto bismol. In any event I like the above photo but that is alot of orange. Possible too much. Maybe if they hadn't painted the ceiling.
...That kitchen! Wow. I'm torn between 'too much!' and 'I WANT IT'. Orange always has been my favourite colour.
