Stars are nothing new in home decor, but they add an element of comfort like nothing else does. Stars don't mean country like they used to — they can make any kind of statement you want them to. Big or small, shiny or matte stars make a great accessory.
We love the old world vibe of the kitchen with an oversized star light fixture. The juxtaposition of the two create an inviting space that we'd love to be in. Mixing the down home feel of star decor with modern decor creates an eclectic and inviting space.

I loved the green kitchen with the star as the main accent! Loved the color choices on wall! Great idea!
That kitchen is amazing and I love the oversized star as a focal point. Well done.
we just hung the star fixture I've been holding onto for 2 years up in our new house. Gorgeous.
But I really want to know more about that green tile!
It's the blue and green tile in the kitchen that captivated me, didn't even notice the star.
that is my dream kitchen from emery et cie! i love her paint and her tile. Can AP tell me what paint (that is easily available in US) is most similar to hers? i really like the turquoise glass chandelier that is also in this room, but the star prolly makes a really pretty light.
if you like that kitchen it looks very Emery & Cie..click through the products to see the images,,most dreamy beautiful pictures lots of green and blues.

one more for the kitchen!
does anyone know where the tiles are from?
LOVE all the stars -- I collect them! Gotta get the brass wire version!
These kinds of stars have never felt country to me. These multi-pointed stars have always had a world feeling for me. Only simple five pointed stars ever say country.
the first kitchen is gorgeous I love the colors and the star just completes the look
