The foyer is your home's first impression. Why not make it a wow? The magic of a few coats of paint are even more transformative when color is bold! Here are some inspiring bright entryways from across the spectrum.
1. My own foyer is a similar shade of turquoise to this one from House of Turquoise. Though mine has barely enough room to take off your shoes and the floors are hardwood with "character," I do have white trim that gives a bit of that island feel.
2. Called "Razzle Dazzle," this party pink definitely lives up to its name! The entryway from House Beautiful instantly lets us know these homeowners have pizzazz.
3. Just, for a second, try to imagine this foyer in Contractor White. Snoozefest! The sunny yellow foyer seen on Nate Berkus would brighten your day even if the weather is gray.
4. I'm a fan of orange, and this citrus-hued entry from TimeOut NY is no exception. Orange pairs well with navy, white, and gold... just avoid too much black if you don't want a Halloween look!
5. Although subdued compared to the others, this pretty apple green in a foyer from Country Living is a great gateway color for those looking to get their feet wet.
Do you have a bright foyer?

Nomade Express Slee...
I'm obsessed with chic entryways and foyers! Absolutely loving these candy-colored, whimsical "welcome home" moments.
Love. Great post!
Took my breath away!
I love these, especially the pink!
So pretty!
The first one reminds me of Lisa Frank. All it needs is a unicorn dancing on a rainbow. I mean this in a good way.
The foyer in our new house is primer colored (streaky white). I was going to paint it a chocolatey brown, but now I want bright colors...it's been unpainted since we moved in April mainly because I can't make up my mind. hmmm.
That yellow/green one would make anyone standing it look like they had hepatitis or liver cancer. None of these color schemes say "come in and relax, leave the stress of the day behind".
Love that shade of orange!
Oh my gosh, I just love this foyer. I think I'm going to have to repaint mine. I love turquoise and all shades of blue. But this is just beautiful along with the art work and mural and the crisp white.
I painted my foyer a bright yellow. www.flickr.com/photos/orngcatstudio/4851891138/in/set-72157624135231139
Oh, the first two...
The orange and green are remarkably non-shocking. Very nice.
That pink one keeps popping up, and I keep falling in love with it.
That first one is from a cover story from House & Gardens, it's down in Florida. The whole house is Ah-mazing. Don't know if I could live with it full time, but I still love it.
@dmstudio... Your kitty is so cute, I just want to squuuueeeze him :)
I love them all... but I don't think I could live with any of the colors shown except the orange. I don't know if I'm color phobic or if these colors are just too dramatic for my taste.
@itsjustgoldie LOL! Thanks for reminding me of Lisa Frank! :)
I don't know how I could walk down those stairs every morning and not be super happy to start my day. Maybe I need more of this in my house.
That first foyer doesn't so much pop as blow your face off. But in a good way ;-)
love the first one.. would never leave my house if i had a foyer like that.. I would get to the door and then just sit admiring it...
The first and last photos are my favorites.
ohhh,...I've Got to do something with my Foyer! I Love Colour!
That turquoise foyer is out of this world! I think I am in love. :-)
Snoozefest? If that means: come in, relax and let the work-a-day world and way too much stress slip from your shoulders, color...then that's the color I want. Not migrane inducing, way over the top, shout-out-loud colors.
that pink one just made it onto my "HOLY-I-COVET" list.
beyond in love!
