This rebuild and remodel of an existing 1970's residence by architecture studio Eleven MODERN in collaboration with Lori Smyth Design in Santa Barbara caught my eye on One Kind Design this week.

The open floor plan and expansive windows give it an indoor/outdoor feel. This home has been in the family for three generations, and from the stunning photos of the kitchen, wrap-around deck, garage-turned-game-room, and swimming pool, I can see why.

Outdoor kitchen? Reason in and of itself to live in California.
