Nomade Express Slee...
Shells our pretty - and certainly something we sometimes collect, but we've stopped collecting them because the marine life needs all the calcium carbonate it can get. Global warming has acidified the oceans, and other animals use those shells. If we give them any disadvantage now, some species could go extinct altogether. Especially with all the people using the beach as a free gift store. Please watch the BBC video! :(

(BBC's site is tanked. Sorry)

Not all of those are actual seashells, btw :)
Oh, I missed the chopsticks! If I were being my usual unreasonable self, I'd complain about deforestation with chopsticks too, but you've tolerated enough of my ranting. Truly, there are worse things than grabbing a few shells / rocks off the beach. I'm guilty as sin also. I think if we focus on saving the corals and the ocean, there will be enough for all in moderation.
I think from the site for the chopsticks, they're recycled chopsticks. Now if only we can get folks to stop using throw-away utensils...I did my part by carrying my own to go camping this weekend :)
