The space was designed by Renzo Piano, who also designed the famous Pomipdou Center in Paris. Major works by Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, Cindy Sherman, and more will be on display. Admission is free- however, to get in, you have to reserve tickets ahead of time. The tickets are dated and timed. The easiest way is to get them online. Click here for more info or call the box office at 323.857.6010. The LA times recently had an interesting article behind the making of the center, and includes a neat interactive graphic. Here is the link to the article. If anyone has already been or is planning to attend, let us know what you thought! (thanks to ATLA reader hessilou for reminding us!)
