This gaming hack reminds us of Gerald's PS3 DIY cabinet, but you know...a paired down version the rest of us can get our heads around.

Rather than dumping his broken Powerbook as e-trash, Frédéric repurposed the busted laptop with the help of Ikea's Ramvik side table to turn it into an old school tabletop arcade system...

Other than the fact that Frédéric's Powerbook's hinges had snapped off, the notebook still worked, so he decided to tape the two pieces together, back to back. He called his new gizmo the Mamebook.

The Mamebook has found maybe uses in its new life. From a Mac Tablet to a makeshift arcade system.

Now he's used an Ikea side table to install his Mamebook within, turning it into a tabletop gaming system you may remember playing at your local pizzeria joint.
