- What do you love about your bedroom?:
- I love how my room displays my personality. I am a full time student who studies all the time, hence all the tech, but I also play around a lot; whether it be games, playing soccer, hiking or just going out with friends. Being able to portray that I balance my work and social life is very important to me.
- What are your tips for creating a beautiful, healthy and organized bedroom?
- If you have a laptop, computer, TV and/or gaming console in your room be sure to add in a few pops of colour to counter all the black/white. I originally was going to go for a bright coloured desk, but decided to add colour with my duvet cover, cushions, prints and even my books. If you don't like the brightness in some seasons, you can just change the duvet cover or cushions to something basic, like a white, grey or black solid duvet.
- In modern homes, bedrooms have become more than just a place to sleep; they can be a retreat, a home office, a library, a relaxation zone. What are some ways you make the most of your bedroom?
- I am a full time University student, so it is very important that I have a large working space; so you could say it is a study room just as much as it is my place to sleep. It's also a place where I can have some fun, playing games, or to relax with a good book.

It's relatively easy to make a large, lovely room look and feel good and welcoming, but most dorm rooms are an almost impossible challenge. Your bed looks great, and you've done an impeccable job organizing your work area. Congrats.
Sweet. Nice room. Enjoy.
Very nice.Neat,bright,organized.Loving the purple.Good job.
This room is charming. : ) Is the duvet cover from Urban Outfitters? It's adorable.
This might be a silly question, but I'm wondering how difficult it was to install the wall shelves over your TV and computers. I'm guessing they're from IKEA? I'm a college student living in a sorority house, and we were going to hang the long, floating Lack shelf in a common room, but are now hesitant to because we've heard that they can be a challenge to install and they put a ton of holes in your wall. We don't want to mess up the wall since we don't own it. Were you able to install it fairly easily? Do you recommend them?
Yeah, the cover is from Urban Outfitters - love that shop!
I got my shelves from IKEA, but I don't have the lack shelves so I can't comment on how easy they are to put in or how much damage they can do. I was going to get them, but they werent going to be able to handle a lot of weight.
I got the combination of Ekby Jarpen and Bjarnum - they were super easy to put in, but because of how many I had, I do have a bunch of holes in my wall (about 10.)
