We featured Bruno's nursery about a year and a half ago and admired this special nook with Bruno's crib. Michelle emphasized that this room would grow with Bruno, and well - it has. Check out the lovely transformation of this special space below:

In the original tour, Michelle told us that she didn't plan to move anytime soon and that the nook was her favorite part of the room.
We love how it's transformed. With the toddler bed replacing the crib, the whole space looks so different without any other changes. Though those "nooks" can sometimes require a little imagination, it's totally worth it as you can see here. Architectural details like this add loads of character and create instant coziness.
Thanks for sharing Michelle!

Looks to be a Jenny Lind toddler bed. Is that the original bed converted and refinished/painted or a different one altogether (and if so, where's it from)? Either way, it's a lovely little nook!
veganmomma- It is a Jenny Lind style bed. It's not the crib converted - two different manufacturers. Crib was DaVinci in white, the bed is from Dream On Me in Espresso.
Love it!
What a great nook, it can even grow once more with Bruno if you're daring enough (and Bruno is ok with small spaces haha) to make a lofted bed that sits above the window. Perfect for sleeping and reading in bed and he could still have a play/desk area below!
The before is nice, but the after is, wow! I love it. What a perfect room for a toddler!
LOVE this. my kind of nook!
Love it! What a fantastic space!
Very nice!
Do you happen to remember the paint color in this wonderful room?
I love how simple this is. I want to come live with you :D. I have the hardest time keeping things minimalist & cozy. Do you have an additional play space for him? My kids have much too much crap!
