Brush Regularly: The LintEater

We got a tip from AT:LA reader Robby who wrote a glorious review of the LintEater. We've never used one ourselves, but apparently this bad boy will clean your dryer vent in a snap. According to the product overview, the LintEater attaches to a cordless drill and then shoots up the vent, swiping all the lint out and leaving it spotless--making your dryer more efficient and preventing potential house fires.

Here's what Robby had to say in full detail: I just moved into a new house and the washer and dryer were left from the old owners. The dryer was taking forever to dry my clothes and someone told me I had to get my dryer vent cleaned. When I called my local chimney/ vent cleaners they told me it would be upwards of $300. I could not afford to do that at that time but seeing how many house fires happen because of dryer fires it needed to get done. I went online and tried to see if I could do it myself. I found this awesome product called the LintEater. I'm a huge do-it-yourselfer and I always get nervous with jobs like these, but it was so easy to use. It was really cool too because it attaches to your cordless drill and spins through the vent, getting all of that dryer lint out. Now my dryer runs better and doesn't make my clothes as hot. I never knew how important it was to clean the dryer vent.

Thanks for the tip, Robby!
