What I Love About My Small Home:
I like that there is nice sunlight during the day. I love the exposed brick wall(paper); it's actually wallpaper. I also like the fact that there is a separate kitchen, closet and a small nook for dining.
Biggest Challenge of Living in a Small Space:
The biggest challenge was to fit all the furniture I have and at the same time be a multifunctional studio. I still want to make the room feel spacious and be able to have friends over. What I did was I pushed the furniture to the sides and tried to create an open space in the middle. I picked a yellow sofa to brighten up the room and have a walnut lounge chair on the side so there is a good contrast. I also used the brick wallpaper and wooden blinds to bring texture, help define the space and create depth.
