Here's another wall planter to add to Gregory and Laure's posts from yesterday. We've seen something similar to these used for fish bowls, but made of plastic. These Bubble Wall Vases from Pottery Barn are made of glass and hand blown...
They come in a set of three sizes, Small (4.5" diam.), Medium (6" diam.), and Large (7.5" diam.) $59 for the set.

How do you attach them to the wall?
And how do you get the water in and out? Maybe they hang from a hook? Hard to tell from the pic.

FEATURES & BENEFITS
Our sphere shaped glass vases display lightweight vase fillers and small floral arrangements and can be used in any room for added decoration. They mount to the wall with a small opening in the back. They are offered in a set of 3 which includes three sizes, 4.5" diameter, 6" diameter and 7.5" diameter.
guess that small opening is where you can add the water
These are cute, but cb2 has something incredibly similar for $2.95. I'd save my money and go there -

I have this from the store "Doe" (Haight & Steiner) in San Francisco. I just have a little nail in the wall that it hangs on (you can see a small hole on the back, flat part of the vase). You put the water in the hole that the flowers stick out of. Very Easy! You can just take it down from the wall to change the water.
Oh wow, i absolutely love these! I guess the one downside though would be having to keep very good maintenance of the water line if you've got water with lots of mineral deposits, which tend to show up and "stain" the glass of vases as the water line evaporates: no one wants to see water-stained glass all over the walls. Hmm.
Maybe fill with sand and shells, etc. for a guest bathroom. Having to fill with fresh flowers and water all the time seems like a huge commitment. I might as well get a pet.
- All I can think of is how to clean them.
I've had similar vases from PB for years and never have had any problems with water marks/keeping them clean. They look nice even when I don't have flowers in them, so no pressure :). Love the shape of these, so maybe I'll be getting my vases some new friends...
These are FISHBOWLS. They have a tiny nail that you hang them on. Cute.
