Sealed Air, the makers of Bubble Wrap since 1960, have unveiled a new space-saving, more eco-conscious type. But sadly, this new version doesn't pop when pressed.

The new product, iBubble Wrap, ships in flat plastic sheets and is filled with air onsite when needed via a special pump. To achieve that, the bubbles are connected, so when you press one, air just moves to another bubble.

Sealed Air will continue to make original Bubble Wrap, which ships in giant prefilled poppable rolls, and takes up 50 times as much space on trucks and in warehouses than the new version.
