Bucket Rider Gallery

Bucket Rider is one of our favorite Chicago galleries. Owners Keith Couser and Andrew Rafacz both have a good eye, exhibiting artwork with a little bit of bite.

They show one of our favorite photographers: Nicola Kuperus (whose photo Zeus is shown below). The space is unpretentious, a little edgy, and most of the artists represented fall somewhere between established and up-and-coming (some of them on a fast rise).

Their focus is contemporary painting, drawing, photography, and installation art. Bucket Rider hosts openings nearly every month in their small, unassuming space. In our experience, the staff has been friendly and happy to answer questions...don't be shy!
