Budget Style: JC Penney's Design Collaborations

There's a new destination for décor for less dollars. As part of their younger, cooler rebranding, JC Penney is showcasing chic design collaborations, with some familiar faces and favorites in the mix.

I'm particularly excited to check out Jonathan Adler's Happy Chic line for the department store when it launches this month. Michael Graves, the icon formerly behind the original Target design collab, has a collection debuting at JCP in March, as well.

The retailer seems to be working out the kinks, still. I've barely seen any publicity for these launches. Some items from the playfully patterned Duro Olowu line are available, but most are pre-order. Pantone Universe has some basic bed and bath items in Color of the Year Emerald and a few other hues, but nothing that really pushes the envelope - yet

Have you seen any of these new lines in the stores? What did you think?
