We double-plus love a good diy project. There's something about making the pieces in your home, the time spent in the garage or alleyway assembling things, especially when it means you're not spending big designer bucks. The bed above was patterned off one that could have cost over $700!
Over at the fabulous little blog, Knock off Wood, you can find all sorts of designer pieces of furniture and plans to make them yourself, at home. One of them details a readers project where they made a bed traditionally found at Land of Nod and although they would have loved to purchase it from the store, the price tag was a little steep.
They went to town and created an almost identical version all on their own. They share their plans along with a few tips on how to make this pine bed for your own home over at Knock off Wood.
