Has your penchant for the modern industrial look influenced your toddler's taste? Do you have $40, some basic DIY skills and an hour to kill? Then it is time to get industrially industrious and build your kid a bed.
Rayan Turner at The Design Confidential has come up with this simple rolling bed frame that fits in perfectly with an industrial modern decor. The perforated metal edging and big castors (lockable, of course) give it a cool straight-from-the-warehouse look. He states you can build it in minutes, and while we think you may want to give yourself a bit more time than that, it is a straightforward DIY project that the most novice craftsman should be able to complete with little difficulty.
Take a look at this very clear and easy to follow tutorial over at The Design Confidential.

That link appears to be broken, but the toddler industrial bed does seem to be a great weekend project if you are looking for an inexpensive way to update your kid's room. I know of another site that has kids furniture and kids bedroom sets that are highly affordable and don't require you to build anything, unless your simply looking for woodworking plans like this. I believe the site is http://www.kidsfurniturenmore.com.
Very cool tutorial. Here's the corrected link if the one in the post doesn't work:
