As I write this the temperature is hovering around three degrees above zero. I am not particularly inclined to head outside any time soon, and I feel confident in saying I am not alone in that regard. When kids stay indoors, it is a great time to encourage them to get their creative arts and crafts juices flowing. What we would like to curtail, however, is the flowing of the markers, pencils and paints off the table onto the floor. Here is a neat project that will keep all of the supplies organized and in arms reach. Ana White has done it again, this time with an arts and crafts table that incorporates supply storage front and center. No need to paint this table any wild colors since the ingenious use of a clear acrylic top has the art supplies provide all of the pop you need.
As with all of Ana's projects, this tutorial is clear and provides plenty of drawings. It does feature some tricky double-beveled legs which can get very confusing very quickly (trust me, I've been there) but if you take your time and follow her instructions, all should go well.
