082411-chairs2.jpg The idea of crafting your own dollhouse furniture becomes quickly more appealing as the price tags of for-purchase furniture starts to add up. They might not cost as much as real furniture, but a chair and table set can still easily be $20 or more. These small chairs are modern, sleek and sure to give your dollhouse a punch of cool. The best part? They're handmade from very simple materials.

These small chairs were made from thin metal tubing that was wrapped around a jib created from a few strategically placed nails in a block of wood.

The end result is far easier to create than the lifesize version of these chairs and the best part is you can make enough to seat a small rabbit family of 12. What? You don't have a small rabbit family? What about a flocked family of bears? Momma bear would be quite pleased to have a full dining set and so will your kids! Check out all the details on the process at Dollhouse Miniature Furniture Tutorials, where you'll find all kinds of things to make for your dollhouse.
