You already know that we love Brinca Dada's dollhouses and dollhouse furniture. We've swooned over both the Emerson House and the Bennett House and drooled over their modern furniture. Now there's one more thing to go gaga for: wonky, unusual, and fun building blocks.
Brinca Dada really went against the grain with these wooden blocks (apologies for the pun, but we really couldn't help ourselves). Instead of fitting neatly together, the pieces work in conflict; they purposefully don't fit together, forcing kids (or adults) to problem solve and become comfortable with "the simplicity of imperfection."
Made from solid teak hardwood, the blocks come in sets of 21 pieces, an unusual number we're sure was chosen by design. Available for $59 at Velocity.

Shaw's Original Fir...
ummmm look at all the sharp edges are you kidding me? nice looking blocks and the kids are missing eyes and have scratches. not to mention that these are not blocks- check the definition of blocks- they must be stackable. I totally dislike toys that are appealing to parents but fail to teach motor skills.
