We're smitten with the designs of German artists Wolfgang Winter and Berthold Hörbelt — according to Treehugger, the duo has been building milk crate buildings since 1992. Check out these inspirational structures made from crates...
• This elaborate structure is made of Jupiter crates — does anyone recognize it?

They have one of those beer crate buildings in Brussels - near the Atomium. I think it's some sort of Museum... probably about beer.
Fascinating. I love the glow it gives inside the space. Talk about clever recycling.
Love it. I could take a nap in there. (Can you tell I am tired?)

Yes beer not milk, but we get the idea.
Do they cover up the open slats with anything, or leave it open to the air?
