Gill designed the aquarium to be placed at the center of a long, narrow townhouse. Its location lets it act as a prism, bringing light and movement deep into the core of the home. We haven't seen an aquarium so integrated into a home's architecture before.

I agree that aquariums can be stunning. It would be nice to be able to see a better picture of the one featured in the post. As a practical matter, goldfish are wasteful fish that require at least 20 gallons of water per fish to live happily.

Uh oh. Big built-in aquariums mean the 80s are coming back.

I was going to say the same thing Wishing&Hoping! I've had all sorts of fish over the years and fancy goldfish are some of the most finicky to keep.
