However, these bunk rooms get extra points for style and cohesiveness. The ones of my past have mostly adhered to the fit-in-as-many-beds-as-possible policy, and as fun as they were it would be very generous to call them attractive. So, while I will always love the carefree idea of a sea of open bunk beds with a plethora of mismatched bedding, I certainly don't mind the look of multiple neatly manicured nooks and matching couchette-like privacy curtains (pictures 4, 5). What about you?

all dreamy. all conjure childhood memories that take me to camp, reunions, weekends at my great aunt's house, or just places only imagined in my mind. i would love to work some of these ideas into my guest room to bring this fantasy home, home, home.
So lovely! I just spent the weekend sleeping in bunks myself. There's something just cozy about curling up with a book in a bunk on a nice rainy afternoon. There's something nice and simplistic about it.
