Here's another great DIY decorating idea, using these sculptural tabletop spheres from West Elm as inspiration. Shelley at Crazy Wonderful tried her hand at making something similar and, after a failed attempt or two, found a technique that approximates the original. See how she did it, after the jump.

With only wire hangers(!) as the base, and a clay exterior, this made for a cheap project; $7 was all Shelley spent at the craft store. What it gives back in glitter is priceless.
