Cambria over at our green-tinged site Re-Nest posted about these handsome 100% felted merino wool and leather iPod cases from etsy seller Byrd & Belle that look like an offering from J. Crew rather than the typical DIY wares...
The stocking stuffer perfect Byrd & Belle cases sell for $19 at their Etsy shop. They also make full size cases for laptops if you're looking for a similar look for your larger portable device.

very nice -- I like this a lot.
Looks like a bad copy of the hard graft sleeve I bought two years ago.
jeremee: <A href=http://www.unplggd.com/unplggd/laptop-accessories/hard-graft-held-macbook-pro-laptop-sleeve-070732>Hard Graft makes some fine sleeves, but not everyone is going to be able to afford a $132 sleeve, so this Etsy version may be a good alternative for those of us with shallower wallets to dip into.
while I do think the Hard Graft version looks a lot better, this is a good $50 cheaper. Wish I used a laptop sleeve more often to justify the cost. If it were $50 or below i'd buy one in an instant.
Cheers,

Artistic, hand-manufactured, functional and classy. Great simple holiday gift items. Sign me up.
Hard Graft and their Euro deluxe prices can eat it. I just bought two.
Why is this a "bad" copy. The Hard Graft one looks nice, but mostly just a different style than this, not any better.
I've bought a handful of things from Byrd and Belle and it's always quality, always a great seller.
I'm happy to see AT featuring this great etsy shop.
Here's another designer, Blythe King, who makes some great ipod and laptop cases out of vintage cloth and buttons:

I don't think these are a "bad copy". I think they're just as attractive as Hard Graft and more reasonably priced.
I've had my eye on these for awhile now. Just have to talk myself into buying a new sleeve. I have such an addiction to felt.
