4-28-c3 cabin7.jpgOne of our all-time favorite small spaces is the C3 Cabin by Seattle firm Vandeventer + Carlander Architects. Although we featured it last summer, we're re-posting it in honor of Small Cool Month. Described as "a simple wood framed box with two large pairs of doors opening onto the garden and views," the owners use it as a vacation home.

The cabin takes up 352 square feet, with a 128-square foot sleeping loft.

We live in 300 square feet, so can easily see upsizing -- full time -- to this light and airy space.

The cabin plans are for sale here ($850).
