Nice, but that wrinkled rug is bugging me- plus it should be centered. Also the art above the bedside table is partially obscured by the lamp.
Absolutely gorgeous - a really warm, calm space. And kayonyc, not everything in our homes needs to be perfectly centrered or laid out. I much prefer a lived in, self-decorated room to one that has been so meticulously 'curated' you hardly dare breathe!
Love the cowhide. Not the scull so much.
Love the skull!
Nice colors and dresser.
I want to tuck the bedspread under the mattress to clean things up.
Lovely! I'd like to know what the paint color is, and where to find that floor lamp next to the armchair.
I have two of those skulls! Got them at TJ Maxx for like $3.99 ea, best day ever. They are HEAVY and really high quality.
I agree with kayonyc.
Those subtle misalignments and attention to detail can make a huge difference on feeling comfortable with a design or not. The details can make it or break it.
Deserving of far more than 24 hits.
Love how calm this room feels. Also wishing I had painted my room this colour : ) My only quibble - I'm not nuts about the bedspread dragging on the floor. But I love everything else about this room. Favourited!
Very pretty wall color, but looks too much like a hotel room, (and do tuck in that bedspread, please.)
I love the long bedspread, I think it gives the room a very relaxed look and that way you don't have to kick it out every night and then tuck it in every morning. Also, digging what looks like lego art in the one pic and the skull.
Love it Cabe! Really like the soft but masculine textures. The wall color is dreamy...
If you drape the bed linens they should drape on all three sides otherwise tuck it in tidy and tight. The room is beautiful.
Maybe you just need a simple bedskirt or a drape of fabric that goes between the mattress and box spring.
Thank you! The paint color is called "Stone Mason Gray" from Valspar (Lowes). The floor lamp base was from IKEA about 8 years ago, and the shad was a large drum shade I had around.
Thanks! Yes its very easy to make the bed in the morning LOL. I was going for a relaxed, easy look. And you are totally right, that is a LEGO block piece I made in the frame.
Thank you so much!
