Check out this cabinet facelift we recently spotted over at Centsational Girl. We can't believe the world of difference between this wood laminate stackable cabinet and the brilliant white and green results:
Adding crown molding, priming the laminated surfaces, brightening with white paint, and coloring the interior with a small green paint sample from True Value transformed this standard shelving into something really special. While this project is for Centsational Girl's son's room, we can just imagine similar transformations in grown-up spaces, too!

I need something similar for my bathroom. Do you deliver? ;)
Some wood just BEGS to be covered in paint and given a totally new and fresh look. This is one of those. Great job with perfectly chosen color splashes, too!!! (I'm a sucker for anything blue and green together, in the light to medium range.) The molding is a nice touch, too. I wouldn't have thought of doing that but it really finishes the piece off beautifully. You have a great eye!
LOVE that the entire inside of the cubed section is painted and not just the back. gonna have to try this one!
The colors are very nice, but I'm not a fan of crown molding.
great little transformation! cheap and simple!
Kudos for such idea and well-done job!
