Name: Caleb
Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada
Caleb was a delivery-day surprise, so we started with a gender-neutral paint colour in the nursery -- a soft but modern grey. We already had the furniture from our older son, and we waited until Caleb was born to add the decor and finishing touches.
I picked out a green striped fabric for the curtains and built from there, adding a mirror, framed artwork, green floating shelves, bunting, paper lanterns, and a paint chip mobile, all in shades of yellow and green. Nearly all of the decorative elements were made by me, including the mobile, bunting, and artwork -- we were on a tight budget and I'm very proud with how beautiful everything came out considering how little money we spent!
I wanted something that was clean and modern, and not overly baby-ish -- something that was fun and bright, but that could grow with him into childhood.

Nomade Express Slee...
This is the best decorated nursery I've seen so far on AT. I think most people go overboard on putting decorations in the room, but here it is well done: not too much, fun & bright and the focus is on the cleanliness and the functionality of the room. I can definatly image the room to stay this way for some years to come while the little baby grows up to be a toddler. Good choice and well done. Thank you for showing!
So tired of grey walls. I think I might have gone with a pale yellow but it's cute.
What a cute nursery! I love the grey! Could you please share the name of the paint color you used?
very sweet!
