California Native Plant Society Spring Plant Sale

Now is the perfect time to start a new garden. And don't think that you can't if don't happen to have a big yards(or even any yard). Container gardens are an easy way to bring some nature to your home, and this Saturday, March 31st, you can purchase and learn how to use California native plants. The Tree of Life Nursery in San Juan Capistrano is having demonstrations on design basics, plant selection guidelines, and maintenance.

There will also be guest speakers and short classes focusing on small spaces and patio gardens common in Southern California. You can also build your own "Habitat in Miniature", where supplies and plants will be provided for a $15 fee. Admission to the entire event is free. It will be from 9:am to 4:00pm.
