Melody Duron's duplex reminds us that a colorful home doesn't have to be aggressively so; there's a subtlety and richness in the details of her home that is just as effective at conveying a vibrant communion with color.

The most saturated colors in her home are in little, intricate elements: the deep purple geode and blue patterns on the vases, the antique rugs and chartreuse window treatments, a red branch, a bronze side table.
