Camera day packs are what you use to tote your DSLR around town when you don't want to have a full on camera bag weighing you down. Typical day packs have just enough room for the essentials: a lens (or flash) and other small accessories like spare batteries and SD cards. Check out some of the fun and colorful ones we’ve found, after the jump.
Photojojo’s The Camera Day Pack ($60) - This day pack from Photojojo fits the bill perfectly when it comes to what a day pack should be: small and light with room for a flash or extra lens. This pack also has 5 pockets to stash extra memory or batteries to get you through the day and features a cushioned strap. Made of water resistant nylon, this functional bag comes in 2 fun colors (purple/orange and blue/green).
Nikon x Porter ($200) - Nikon teamed up with Porter to make this classic-looking day pack. Right now it only seems to be sold in Japan and at $200, it’s fairly expensive for a day pack. Made with a teflon-treated waterproof exterior, in comes in 4 sophisticated colors to keep you looking stylish while you’re on-the-go.
Qozi Rookie Camera Shoulder Bag - This adorable bag from Hong Kong based Qozi (pronounced “cozy”) is another example of a perfectly sized day pack with the ability to fit a camera, lens and flash all in one. It’s made of water resistant canvas and comes in 2 quirky colors. The interior is well padded with a contrasting color palette from the exterior. Unfortunately Qozi doesn’t seem to have their bag available online, but with such a well put together website and awesome product, we wouldn’t be surprised to see an online store in the near future.
Lowepro Terraclime 100 ($79.99) - This day pack from legendary camera bag makers Lowepro uses 95% recycled fabric. It features a two-part protection system with a padded camera wrap and the outer shell bag. It may not be as padded as the other day packs on our list, but it does keep the whole system thinner and stream lined. It comes in 3 colors with contrasting liners and double hook enclosures.
