I grew up in Wisconsin and my family loved to go camping. I was never the outdoorsy kind of girl who fished, sat around the bonfire, or swam in the lake. So of course, if I am forced to go camping and sit in the woods all weekend, I am going out in style.
Here are some great examples of how I'd like to travel:
- Aqua Teardrop Trailer: House Tour: Mark & Katie's Cross Country T@b Trip
- 1964 Airstream 19' Globetrotter: Vintage Campers
- Constance Green and Cream Camper: Room For Dessert
- Bright Orange Trailer: Vintage Travel Trailer
- Light Blue Vintage Camper: Paula's Palace of AltAred Art

Shaw's Original Fir...
My friend Janet, a photographer, traveled the country for about 3 months, pulling a small, teardrop-shaped camper behind her car. She said it was perfect. And you can't argue with the results http://www.flickr.com/photos/janetlittle/sets/72157624829089102/</a href>
Shady Dell! Shady Dell!
Oh, I love cool camper posts~ Keep 'em coming!
I'd love to see the insides of these caravans.
Where did the orange trailer come from? The link posted has nothing to do with the picture :(
talby, it looks like a Canadian Boler that's been kitted out.
LOVE!!! I am such a sucker for vintage campers! :)
I spent 3 months last summer living in a 1973 Boler which hadn't the benefit of being restored. I spent some time pulling out old wiring (I was using an extension cord for christmas lights). I wish that I had the time to restore it properly, but it was just a loaner and has since been sold.
Still, it was the coolest 3 months I've spent camping anywhere!!!
the blue one is gorgeous - i think I need similar to act as a guest room for when friends come to stay!
Cute! Almost worth buying a car, just to have one of these.
Glampers, go 'way! Leave the woods and lakes for those of us who don't mind getting a little dirty. These would be lovely in a backyard as an artist's studio or guesthouse, but please let the wild places stay wild. It's no fun waking up to a view of a hulking metal structure out of my tent window.
My parents have a 70s era Boler (sadly, not a bright orange one) that used to fit all three of us plus the dog. We called it The Egg, haha.
