Q: I am lucky enough to have a decent sized apartment in Brooklyn, NY. The only problem is that all my space is in my bedroom! I'd love to have a dinner party or a game night or just anything where I can have a decent number of people over, but I'm worried it would be awkward to have everyone hanging out on my bed!
Not mention that most of my extra seating, besides one small sofa in my living room, is also in the bedroom! Any ideas for how to turn my bedroom into a living space for having guests? Could I turn the bed into a table? Or turn the bed into some less awkward seating? Thanks! -Sent by Mary
Editor: This one goes out to all the studio apartment dwellers and awkwardly laid-out home havers: how can Mary have people over in her bedroom-heavy apartment? What layout and pieces of furniture would you suggest? And does it even matter or will everyone end up crammed in the kitchen anyway, as they have at all parties since the beginning of time?
