Can My Small Dining Room Do Double Duty As Yoga Area?

Good Questions

Q: I recently sold my too-large dining table with the intent of getting a smaller round table. However, in the interim I have discovered that my dining room is the perfect place for my yoga practice. Weird, but true. I hate to give up my practice space, but my family needs a place to eat! Do you have any suggestions how I could squeeze in a daily dining space for 2-3 and my yoga mat (with minimal rearranging of furniture daily) but also keep the flexibility to have 4-6 diners on special occasions?

I need to keep the bookcases and sideboard, but the chairs and rug can go. I'm open to funky/unique ideas - maybe a lounge-like settee? Thanks!
