Is There a Device To Measure Cell Phone Tower Radiation?

Good Questions

Q: I live on the top floor of my apartment building, and cell phone transmitters were installed on the roof right above us. We are wondering about the possibility of harmful long-term effects. Have any of you used any detection technology that you would recommend to get a quantitative reading on what level of exposure we are receiving? Looking for something easy to use, reliable, and not too expensive, if possible.

As a side note, I did a search online and found that these are really everywhere — there are 90 towers and 660 antennas within a 3 mile radius of my address. So although this seems scary, at least the ones on our roof are pointed away from us. Thank you!
